Facial Reflexology

Facial reflexology feels amazing and it has all the benefits of foot reflexology, plus you face gets a treat too!

Some believe facial reflexology to be a new treatment but stimulating specific points on the face to promote well being has been used across the world for many centuries.  Facial reflexology draws on many therapies such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, acupressure and  reflexology.

In Vietnam one form of facial reflexology developed into a comprehensive modern treatment. A vietnamese professor who specialised in acupuncture developed a facial reflexology treatment he found to be more beneficial than acupuncture. A combination of reflexology, massage and acupuncture was used initially but the use of needles soon become unnecessary. This practice is known as the Dien' Cham method.

Facial reflexology, like many treatments, has developed in a number ways as the exploration of the technique is driven by different professionals. Facial reflexology the Sorensensistem (tm) also developed from of a combination of ancient and modern traditions. This treatment also combines Chinese energy meridians and acupuncture along with modern neurology knowledge.

As a reflexologist and massage therapist I find facial treatments and their positive results are loved by my clients and it is wonderful to see this treatment becoming more widely discussed in the media. I believe facial reflexology treatments will become more and more popular in the UK over the next few years.
