Fundraising Massage for Race for Life

Charity massage in Kidderminster

Race for Life started in 1994 and since then  incredible six million people have raised over £493million, more than any other UK event series raising money to fund cancer research.

Some of our Race for Life women take part in celebration of surviving a cancer experience. Others take part in memory of a loved one or to give hope to a cancer-free future. But all of you share a common goal: to raise money for Cancer Research and to help save more lives.

Race for Life is the UK’s biggest fight against cancer and the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Although it is a women's only event boys are allowed to take part up to 12 years old, so my son and I decided to take part this year, (although he says he won't  be wearing the pink t shirt!).

I wanted to support cancer research because of personal experiences and my work at Mary Stevens Hospice. The money raised so far by the Race for Life has been used to fund the work of over 4,000 researchers, doctors and nurses dedicated to helping more people beat cancer.  This is a fantastic event that I really wanted to participate in, so this year we're going for it!

We are entering the Worcester Twilight race on October 18th.  To raise as much money as possible I am holding a charity day at Breathe Holistic Therapy.

On October 5th enjoy a  relaxing back massages  for a donation of £10.00. All proceeds will go to our sponsorship for race for Life. Don't forget at Breathe Holistic Therapy we use the Comfy Cushion system so massage is more comfortable than ever.
